When the sun does shine and cast its glow,

My Home Sweet Home

I love this land of contrast and light

its beauty is a sight.

Woods and forest glades and fields.

Meandering rivers,

Streams for springs.

Hills and moors,

Bogs of peat.

Tors and valleys formed by the great ice sheets.

Castles and manors,

Houses of old, fields of bawes.

When roses died now the poppy covers.

Where they lie in eternal sleep.

No more grey pastures.

Green foxglove clover.

Dewdrops and stock,

Daisy's and dock.

Makes the scent I know from birth.

Dragon flys may fly.

Fox and stoat.

Viper and hedgehog.

Rainbow's too.

Teaming with life right next to you.

Purple stone found here alone.

This the crown with its beauty and grace.
